Postcards

Brand New Old Stock!

These postcards are brand new, never used. They were discovered in a climate controlled storage unit owned by Tommy Thompson and the Columbus America Discovery Group. These brand new postcards were produced in 1992 by the Columbus America Discovery Group to celebrate the recovery of the SS Central America gold. There are four postcards, one of a new species of octopus crawling on the arm of the robot NEMO while it works recovering gold and other treasure from the ocean bottom. The next shows a starfish crawling on piles of gold coins and gold bars on the ocean floor at close to 8,000 ft. deep. The next is a trunk sitting on the ocean floor that was recovered intact that belonged to Ansel and Addie Easton, two of the survivors of the Central America shipwreck. It was filled with clothes, guns and other artifacts. The last postcard shows piles of gold coins sitting on wooden timbers of the SS Central America. All photos courtesy of NEMO the Robot.

Cards measure: 4 1/4" x 6"
